Each project has metadata or information-specific to that project.

  • Metadata helps explain your project to others at a glance

  • For them, it provides necessary background information

  • For your, it's a way to accurately organize/archive your body of work

  • Relevant information about the: Who, What, Where, When, Why, and How?

Required Fields

Name β€” The project's name, codename, or identifier.

Summary β€” A few sentences covering who, what, why, when, where, and/or how.

Client β€” The client, company, organization, owner, stakeholder, or target audience.

Tasks β€” Your specific contributions and responsibilities on the project.


Optional Fields

Tagline β€” One or two sentences that capture the essence of the project.

Dates & Timeframe β€” Start and end dates, duration, or expected resumption.

Results β€” How far did the project progress? What were the outcomes, conclusions, or next phases?

Tools β€” Software, tools, or instruments used.

Methods β€” Techniques, processes, or methodologies applied.

Media β€” The medium, platform, material, and/or format.

Links β€” URLs to a prototype, website, repository, social media post, or anywhere the work lives outside this document.

Team & Collaborators β€” Anyone who contributed to the project in any capacity.
