Overview

Why?

  1. Debrief: It's standard practice to have meetings to debrief projects, revisit goals defined in the beginning, and determine next steps.

  2. Review: Final presentations are opportunities to review completed, discuss time and money budgets, and get stakeholder approvals.

  3. Reflection: Reflection is helpful to assess the objectives of the team, goals of the company, and the performance of individuals.

  4. Promotion: Promotion applies to the product i.e. marketing, manufacturing, etc. Successful projects also applies to the employee promotion. For freelancers, a good project -- good word of mouth for future work.

  5. Celebrate: Project completion meetings acknowledge team accomplishments, recognize individual contributions, and celebrate successes.
